Pallikara beach is the hope of North Malabar’s tourism growth in the coming years. Bekal is hidden and it’s getting ready to fly into the international tourist map in the coming years. Bekal beach and Pallikkara beaches are located in the south and north side o the gigantic Bekal Fort in Kasaragod district. Pallaikara beach is the longest beach in Kerala and it has a very large park with a long view of Bekal fort. BRDC has its beach tents and resorts there to provide beach accommodation to the travellers. Many good accommodation centres and hotels are now available on the premises. Kappad is only 10 kilometres from Bekal and it’s the favourite backpacker destination in Kasaragod district. Asia’s largest Spa Resort has launched there by Lalit hotels recently. An unmatched experience of the sun, sea and the sand is this shallow beach, that offers, apart from the charm of unexplored nature, spectacular views of the Bekal Fort nearby.

How to reach Kannur and Mangalore are the nearest airport. Kasargod is the nearest railway station and bus stop.

  1. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all
is required to get setup? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100% positive.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly
    appreciated. Thank you
