David hall is situated in fort kochi Kerala, is said to be one of the historical building built by the Dutch East India Company in the year 1665. It is said that it was the residence of the renowned Dutch Governor, Hendrick Adrian Van Rheede tot Drakestein.

The building was named David Hall after it came into Jewish ownership, a Jewish businessman called David koder. This historical building is now under the stewardship of CGH Earth, and functions as a culture centre with a gallery for contemporary art.


The building wall is about three foot wide built by ancient technology.
Travel and art lovers can come to see this historical building style. There are many tourist spot situated near to this hall such as the Chinese fish net, Old harbor hotel and Asprin hall etc. The hotels nearby serves variety of Indian as well as foreign dishes.
